Regarding PDF versions of 1.8.x documents

As of this date, 1.8.x documentation is available in HTML format
from http://www.hdfgroup.org/HDF5/doc/.  No PDFs of the 1.8.x 
documentation have been produced.

If you are particularly interested in seeing PDF copies prepared, 
please send a note to fbaker@hdfgroup.org; your input can then be 
considered in the determination of priorities.
